Had two fantastic days with Pete. All we made was middlefinger , AZURE ALPS , P 29 and MS ROZIE. It was not just simple dives , no it was a cultural trip !! Lucky we had allways good condition and the dive side mostly just for us !! Yesterday we had the pleasure that Pete's dog joint us ! He also is a fantastic swimmer ! The time i spend with You I'll always in my memory. Great from A to Z .
A funny story to tell was today after lunch ( MS ROZIE ) : Pete said hurry , cant lost time with talking we go diving. On the way to the entrance i asked Pete : " do you like to dive with you sunglass ??"
Maby he was with thoughts allready in APRESKI !! hehehehe. . . .
Good stuff we made !! Thanx a lot

Should Have Done it Years Ago
I first took a camera underwater about 10 years ago and despite various upgrades have never been happy with the results that I achieved. I contacted Pete a few times over the years to explore the possibility of spending some time with him but, for one reason or another (on my part), it never happened.
Eventually I sold all my stills equipment and bought a GoPro however the desire to produce good underwater images would not relent and earlier this year I once again put together an underwater rig and arranged to spend 5 days with Pete in Gozo to develop my skills.
Pete is open, approachable, funny, knowledgeable and delivers information and instructions in a clear, concise and understandable way.
The diving was wonderfully relaxed, be it at 40m on the Carwela or 90 minutes in Red Bay at no more than 7m. Pete makes every effort to arrive at dive sites as others are leaving so that in all 10 dives we were virtually the only divers in the water. Sometimes that’s getting up early and heading off, at other times it means grabbing a coffee and having a chat about what to expect, or what you want to achieve from the dive before departing for the dive site.
A relaxed review of photos and an honest, constructive, critique of output is generally carried out over a cold beer at the end of the day.
As well as the explanations of the technical aspects of photography the thing that has changed the way that I take photos is how Pete gets you to explore and consider light and shadow and particularly contemplate the composition in the frame, what you are trying to achieve and what story you want to tell with the image.
I would not hesitate to recommend Pete to anyone who is looking to improve their photography and I will certainly be going back for another week next year for further insight and, hopefully, improvement.
Finally, a special mention to Bob, the most well known dive dog on Gozo!

I had a perfect holiday in Malta last month. The photography safari with Pete in Gozo was no doubt a highlight of my time there. It was interesting and relaxing. The early start (at 5:20am) was worth it. Sunrise was lovely. Early morning was just the right time to take photos. Pete was good company. I also enjoyed his dog Bob’s! I liked all the places he showed me. A big thank you to him for everything. Highly recommend the safari. Let Pete show you all the beauty spots (some hidden) in Gozo!

Enjoyed a private underwater photo guiding week with Pete (and Bob of course). Pete showed us Gozo's underwater beauty and gave us valuable insights how to look in a different way through the lens of our underwater camera. Pete's cheerful and good-humoured nature and his talent to anticipate customers needs made this week perfect.
For us it was the best way to explore Gozo above and under water as we could do it on our own pace with Pete's insider support. An experience we could recommend to everyone.
Many thanks Pete - we really enjoyed the time with you!

Thanks for the great week. It's been amazing, I didn't think I had it in me to take such great picture, the fantastic subjects certainly spurred my enthusiasm to do them justice.
I will certainly return to visit you and the island again
Thank you

We had a fantastic week with Pete (and Bob of course). A couple of delicious dives and we've seen a lot. The landscaping was also really fun to do. I would recommend anyone to go to Gozo in December. The (water) temperature is very pleasant and everything is green. It suddenly is a very different island and Pete likes to show you all the beautiful hidden spots of Gozo (and Malta as wel).

So Pete, thank you for a fantastic week! Hope you want us back for more ;-)

Another fantastic week with Pete and Bob. We dived many great sites including a really super night dive and as always with Pete focussing on helping me improve my photography skills especially using my strobe, resulting in photographs I am really pleased with. I would thoroughly recommend using Pete's services to anyone who loves underwater photography - you will simply benefit so much from improved photographs taken at sites that are most of the time all yours to dive!
See you next year :-)
Best wishes
